The first meeting of The Undecided was in October 1993 when Steve May (guitar), Terry Phillips (acoustic) and Jonathan Clark (vocals), started rehearsing at Goytre village Hall they were shortly joined by Lee Roberts (drums), Andy Young (keyboards), Patrick Littler (bass), and Robert Clark (harmonica). They played they`re first gig at The Chainbridge, Nantyderry on April 1st 1994 under the name The Girders (dreadful name)!
They were instantly recognised as a great cover band throughout pubs in South Wales. In July 1994 Andy Young had to leave due to work commitments and the band changed their name to The Undecided. Patrick Littler was replaced by Marcus Rogers in January 1995 and the band went from strength to strength now involved with agencies and clubs and doing regular weddings. Robert Clark left in 1996 and Terry Phillips was replaced in 1997 by Tim Rees (keyboards/vocals) and Jonathan Clark took over on acoustic guitar.

Over the next 4 years they played some 540 gigs and did many radio shows and private parties for the BBC. They had now become a very sought after band for all types of venue and had now started doing gigs all over the U.K. In 2001 Tim Rees had to leave as he emigrated to Canada and the band were fortunate to find they`re newest member Ross Padfield (keyboards/backing vocals) whom brought yet another brilliant touch to the band. Ross fitted in as if he had always been there. Recently Steve and Lee have hung up their musical talants. Newly on Lead Guita we have Nathan Treadgold, and on Drums Chris Webb

In January 2003 They did they`re first TV performance on ITV on a show called ClassyActs which was recorded live and in December 2003 supported by Slade in the NCLA Newport. The band still enjoy every gig they do and can bring entertainment and fun to any venue. Thank you to everyone involved with our success.
